yup. 8gb vs 16 gb makes no difference to me. i'm either keeping my whole library on the thing or changing it occasionally. i don't think the extra 8gb will ever be a huge deal to me. so [censored] that i'll just get an iphone.

It's strange--Apple doesn't normally miss the mark by this much. I'm guessing they've been unable to shrink down the rest of the equipment in the touch enough to allow for a 1.8" HDD in there, and decided they had to release an ipod touch anyways.

I don't know what the cost is like on those 64GB flash drives, but I can't believe they're not in an iPod already. I don't want another HDD player - I want a 60GB+ flash player.

FWIW if I could get Poker Stars on this thing I would take it traveling with me instead of a laptop.

I'm guessing you would need a pretty elaborate hack though.....
