Default How\'s my read here?

Don't know anything about villain. I was planning on c/f the river, and then the overbet gave me more reason to do so. Is this standard?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($1032.65)
Button ($763.65)
Hero ($594)
BB ($630.75)
UTG ($344.65)
UTG+1 ($1821.40)
MP1 ($549)
MP2 ($631.05)
MP3 ($1036.20)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $18</font>, MP2 calls $18, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls $15, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: ($60) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks.

Turn: ($60) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $37</font>, MP1 calls $37, MP2 folds.

River: ($134) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $180</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $134

Against unknown, c/f is better than b/f because everything got there and there are not a lot of players who will turn their one pair hands into bluffs on the river. Against tricky villain, you might want to b/f just so that he doesn't run you over.
