Default Spewing in the $100r?

I felt like having a shot at the $100r and this was a pivotal hand for me, utg+1 is a known aggressive player who is effectively shoving. MP1 is unknown to me, but I figured he could be isolating with quite a few hands. OBV utg+1 is calling for his last 800 and that makes it almost exactly 2-1 for me to call, thoughts?

After the hand I was thinking AQ+ and 99+ is probably a call, what would you call with?

I think AJ is fine here.

UTG+1 has an insanely wide range
MP1, if a good player, will isolate with a range that AJ does fine against

[/ QUOTE ]I thought it was +ev, but I wasn't sure so I posted in a poker strategy forum to see what others thought.
Losing the hand is pretty likely to have influenced how I felt about it...

I think people habitually play too loose in these spots.

I'd fold without thinking twice about it.

I think like AQ, 99+ or something. Maybe TT+.

I'm sure you realize but your range should be tighter and tighter the further you are from closing the action.

Should we be suspicious that UTG+1 is raising instead of shoving? At the lower stakes I find this usually means AA/KK/AK

seems like this is a simple fold pf. calling off a third of your stack after that action with AJ is too spewy, so often you're dominated here
