why did the redskins spike with 50+ seconds left?
a quick pass play is bascially the same thing except it can make TDs

[/ QUOTE ]

I wondered the same thing. They could've run the ball and still had plenty of time to execute 3 more plays. Ridiculous decision.

details for those who dont have that game?

[/ QUOTE ]

Campbell made some nice throws on the last drive, but he ran a play when he should've spiked, spiked when he should've ran a play after the next 1st down, then rushsrushpanichurrys up to the line on 4th & Goal from the 1 when there was plenty of time.

Entirely Gibbs fault; this is the kind of thing that differentiates good coaches from the bad ones, never mind one with three rings.

I wonder what Gregg Easterbrook will have to say about the decision to punt from midfield with 2:50 left?

Wes,

I thought Portis was the guy who ran the failed, ill-advised 4th down play? That may be wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought Portis ran on third down?

Regardless, ship the [censored] chalupas. Giant fans have to take happiness as it comes.

Portis wasn't on the field for any of the last four plays.

"game over" in his notebook. Then some crap about how the gov't is corrupt for letting people roller blade without licenses. Then something about a hot cheerleader.
