why do teams feel the need to pay 'name' managers all kinds of money? wtf, spend it on the team in some other capacity and hire some speak n' spell that is programmed to only say "Don't steal swing away"

DUSTY!

Any truth to the rumor you've already asked for the Reds to trade for Neifi so you can give him many of Brandon Phillips' at-bats to, you know, rest him and stuff?

now that my man juice is apparently a banned stimulant, as neifi is well aware, he has perhaps outlived his usefulness.

fortunately jose macias can learn short.

Because baseball teams think managers still have an extreme relevance to the number of games they win?

The Reds have been hiring no names out of AAA for a while and look where it's gotten them - they need a proven winner like Dusty Baker to get them to the promised land.

i liked mackanin too.
wonder what the reaction in Cincy is to all this.

I have XM which includes 700-WLW in the package so I might have to listen to the sports-talk stuff to get a sense of whether the Reds fans up there are as concerned about this.
