Default 50NL: Folding another set

Villain is 42/17/2 over a decent sample. I'm pretty sure all i beat is a bluff...right? Also, checking the turn is good, or am i just being results orientated...?

I think you either fold or shove turn.

you can't fold the turn at better than 3:1 with that much money left behind, especially against someone that likely has a big hand.

Nononono. He can valuebet all kinds of stuff, including the ever present AA. You got to call. And betting the turn is fine. 4 card straights on the board plays nowhere near like a flush board. Much, MUCH easier for villain to ignore unless you suddenly shove all in.

Shove that sucker on the turn, he could have so many hands that you have crushed. If your beat, you got unlucky; a majority of the time you will be good in this situation.

Betting turn is fine, as is the call. Shoving in this spot is beyond horrible.

As played call river, really only behind the 6, and while I think villain shows up with it hear a decent percentage, I think a lot of time you are up against 2 pair.

BTW looking at it again, I don't think villain raises turn here if he hit teh straight...to me is a def. call.

You just call on the flop and bet on the turn after his check. Why do you do that on the turn? For value? I really do not like it. Either raise flop and check/bet turn regarding of his actions or call flop and check turn to reach showdown without a lot of money in this case that you do not know if your hand is good or not.

No way I'm folding the river to this little bet.
