I think he and Pagan would put up similar numbers given similar playing time, but it would be nice to get rid of him while he's 'hot' and also clean up the roster (and dump a tiny bit of his salary) for next year.

[/ QUOTE ] Pie in 08 is fine by me. Jones hitting better than Pagan right now. Pagan seems to like pitches over his head. Your salary pt. is valid.
