I actually have the same problem with buttons on stars sometimes. BTW didnt know you were a 2+2er, sorry about the KK vs AA river 2-outer some days ago I went on a 7 buy-in upswing in 15 minutes that night

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah no worries. I'd already lost two buyins with KK < AA that day. I could miss another one with AA < KK.

The streaks where every c-bet is raised and every flop is missed really puts me on tilt.. Down 5 buyins in like 2K hands at 100NL.. some bad play mixed in there for sure.. the more tilty I get the more I tend to open up and just bluff at every opportunity.

When these start to happen, I tighten up a good bit in EP so I'm playing far more pots in position. This allows me to counter the minraise of c-bets alot better. If I do raise OOP, I tend to c-bet less with say AQo on a Jh9h7d board. It usually helps me out a bit.

The key is to continue c-betting your normal frequency when you get out of that rut, make some hands, and improve your image.

Agreed on the double shootouts. They are the nastiest satellite available.

[/ QUOTE ]

If double shootouts weren't bad enough, the new $27 triple shootouts have to be a mindfuck to say the least.

[/ QUOTE ]

i have a friend who is all about SnGs. apparently double shootouts are a waste of time cos the variance is sky high

The variance isn't the only reason that double shootouts suck

(This is coming from a former SnG grinder)

I played in a live satellite donkament the other day, and honestly, I don't know why I ever bothered with this. It was so deadly boring and simple. You just wait for TPTK or overpairs and then go all-in. God what a stupid game.

I honestly don't understand why all of you underage guys are whining about not being able to play in the WSOP. If somebody gave me a seat for the ME I'd sell it and use the money to play live NL 5/10.
