Re: god damn cheating pokertracker users
[ QUOTE ]
Dear stars 200nl regulars? Who has the biggest win rate over their last.. say 100K hands and what is it? im wondering how high of a win rate i can hope to sustain at this level. Also if anyone can post a datamine, or has a datamine of this level id love to see it. [/ QUOTE ] i only have like 60k hands at 1/2 6-max but i'm at 6ptbb/100, I doubt anyone can sustain more than 8-10pt/bb for the kind of sample size you're talking about. |

Yesterday I checked the nuts IP on the river against ASPoker8. He laughed at me and I blamed it on not having any coffee yet. [/ QUOTE ] It tilted the fk out of me though! |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I really wish you would stop confusing being tough to play against with being a good player [/ QUOTE ] In an economy like poker, I would think that all the monies eventually trickle up to the guy who is the hardest for you to play against. [/ QUOTE ] ummmm. no see your location for some clarification on this [/ QUOTE ] The location is obv something im fully aware of, and is a joke. Similar to your analysis/opinion/responses to any post I make. The money certainly does trickle up, the guys at the top of the pyramid certainly are the hardest to play against, and they certainly are going to have the most money. I dont see how: easy to play against > hard to play against...... |

I dont see how: easy to play against > hard to play against...... [/ QUOTE ] You're missing the point. You're assuming easy vs. hard to play against for another good player is the primary factor in determining your win rate, when in fact it's a very small one. The money comes from the bad players. Spend your time extracting value from the bad players, not trying to outplay the good players. |

[/ QUOTE ] sigh its not better to be easy to play against. but its not good to only strive to be hard to play against. someone who is like 50/5 and batshit crazy aggro postflop will be v. v. hard to play against especially OOP, but not a winner at all in any game. thats an extreme example but it illustrates the point i think. |
