The money certainly does trickle up, the guys at the top of the pyramid certainly are the hardest to play against, and they certainly are going to have the most money. You're assuming easy vs. hard to play against for another good player is the primary factor in determining your win rate, when in fact it's a very small one. The money comes from the bad players. Spend your time extracting value from the bad players, not trying to outplay the good players. |

[/ QUOTE ] sigh its not better to be easy to play against. but its not good to only strive to be hard to play against. someone who is like 50/5 and batshit crazy aggro postflop will be v. v. hard to play against especially OOP, but not a winner at all in any game. thats an extreme example but it illustrates the point i think. |
