i would never fold that pf at 1/2... i think a fold is pretty bad if youre any good because the players there are so bad that you can outplay them way more than is necessary to make this profitable. i 3bet this alot at 5/10+ but i would only do it at 1/2 if i thought people were folding with any regularity (either pf or later on in the hand)... and i doubt many are.

that was a legit fyp also bc i'm in a hurry at work and said call/fold and you're right - it's def. good to 3bet some amount of the time too out of the blinds w/ hands like suited connectors and suited 1 gappers.

Is the pf call or fold style dependent?

I am trying to learn a 23/17 style and I am sure Pasterbator would tell me to fold this.

i think its more opponent dependant al. if hes opening a ton from the button i think id actually rather 3-bet than call here although either is fine. folding pf is OK too but folding at any point after pf is just criminal.

Yeah I am learning the basics right now, so I think fold is best for me at least. Very interesting thanks for insight.

it's fine if you pm him to ask about a hand where you call out of the blinds with a suited 1 gapper, he will just tell you to fold preflop.

or maybe that was his little way of telling me i suck.
