[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Seriously posting hands in the [censored] thead and getting sttfers who now play cash to answer is probably better than posting in ssnl [/ QUOTE ] This would really suck for the [censored] thread. How about just post the link to your hand that you post in SSNL to funnel traffic to your hand. The added traffic to your thread might even get the SSNLrs reason to start responding. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, because the [censored] thread shouldn't be defiled with strategy. Let's not take the focus off of the 5 outers that cost people tens of dollars of equity that make up the thread. [/ QUOTE ] Bones, I was thinking the exact same thing. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't understand how this was played poorly. If you aren't supposed to go broke with hands like this, I seriously could never play cash. Edit: I see a couple others say it was fine. Is there something even close to bad? I thought the PF call was fairly standard too, no? [/ QUOTE ] The PF call is not terrible. I wouldn't do it all the time, a lot depends on how often the button has been using his position to open wide. Being OOP with the drawish hand can cause discomfort at times, but I'd certainly defend my blind with this reasonably often. And everybody else is right that you're just going to go broke here, particularly after you boat up on the turn. You certainly haven't seen anything near enough to fold on the flop, since overpairs, overs with flush draw, other combo draws are all likely to take the same kind of line. |

I don't want to make own thread about this so I just put this here.
I suck at math, so I have no idea if these step tournaments are profitable or not. At least It seems that Feeder 3 has ridiculous rake.. The idea is that you can only buy-in on the feeder tournaments. King of the hill Any ideas? |

Al,
It's a call sometimes / fold sometimes for me. I probably fold with a larger frequency and call with suited connectors w/ a slightly larger frequency. |
