Eh, I don't think Trot would have caught that ball and thrown out the runner at home.

For that matter, I don't think Bronson would have either.

well regardless of who would have done what, him dropping the ball means the run scores 100% of the time. now if he catches it, i still think that number is high (at least 60%).

once i saw timlin come out for the 9th i felt like the game was conceded. love the bullpen management. papelbon comes in woth 4 runs leads, yet sits on the bench in a tie game AT HOME against a very good team.

Papelbon had thrown 55 pitches over 3 innings the two previous days, and he said something about feeling tired the day of the game, IIRC. I'm not sure if he was available.

God they needed this win. Predictions for the Yankees series? 1-4? 2-3? Swept?

Yeah, I'm just a bit pessimistic. Let's keep the ERA under 7 boys.
