okay, I've updated the hand ranging tool again, this time quite significantly, to make it sleeker, more readable, and take up less screen space. Comments, criticisms, requests plz.

DB Hand Ranging Tool

Looks excellent. One thing I notice: I run ~13-14/9, but I can't remember the last time I limped UTG. Does a typical 14/9 really limp UTG with 55-88 more often than they're raising? I understand why the program lists it this way (since you're not raising 4-5% of the time, it assumes you're limping), but don't most TAGs get a good portion of their non-PFR VP$IP from smooth calling raises, not limping?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a good point. I might change the algorithm so that it assumed tighter players rarely limp UTG (and obv to balance stats, they'll me less likely to raise MP than their PFR suggestes, right? I can't see them preferring to limp more late, and something has to change).

opinions on the behaviour of tight players in his scenario plz.

Don't know but I openly make fun of him and futile war at the tables. You also have to look at it like this comared to futile war pumuckel is a maniac and I have been told that ajven and futile war are playing 400nl also and winning. Muckel and futile war played a hand together yesterday and it went like this HONEST! I was rolling on the floor laughing.

muckel limps
futile actually riased but only to 5or 6$ (1-2nl)!!!
muckel calls (no suprise)
flop:check check
turn:check check
river check check
lol

Muckel had 55 and futile war had A-K

Why would you block out your vpip/pfr when you basically wrote an article about how you play preflop?
