**Official uNL Microbrew thread: July(LC/NC)**

To everyone starting out uNL with small rolls, and those who are knocking ssnl door :

Please be patient, play good, tilt but never tilt your roll away, manage it, and in the end, it will happen. I started at 5NL and 140K hands later Im at 200NL.

Quick recap of how I did it
100 = 5NL (only one shot)
200 = 10NL (only one shot)
500 =25NL (botched that hard, fell at 350, stopped 25NL after like 1k hands)
350 =45 man sng till 1000$
1K = 50NL (decided to not play 25NL since it did not go well first tiime at 25NL, Bad idea I lost 450$ and fell back at 25NL)
550 = 25NL 2nd try
1100= 50NL 2nd try
2300 = 100NL first try
4000 = 200NL first try (lost 700 in 1 hour)
3300 = back at 100NL up to 5K
5000 = 100NL made a 12 BI downswing and cashed out 3K after that
1000 = 50NL 3rd trip
2100 = 100NL 3 rd trip
4000 = 200NL 2nd try

So except 5NL and 10NL, each limit has given me rough times but fought on and I encourage every uNL to stay sharp and improve.

it took me two days of like 6 hours each day to figure out how to beat live poker ($1/$2). basically, play real tight or see cheap flops (pfr+c-bet does not = profit), and apply baluga theorem but to like the 10th power.

Live poker is so much easier than online, but I'm so antisocial that I'm on total life tilt after 10 minutes at the table. It seems no matter where I play the table is made up of 1 guy in sunglasses telling everyone how to play, 1 woman who completely sucks but is taking everyone's money, 2 drunk buddies making fun of said woman, 2 quiet guys (I like them), 1 old guy calling the floor every 3 seconds and bragging about a video poker win/scheming to win a bad beat jackpot, 1 guy watching tv that has to be told it's his turn every single time, 1 loud guy, and me - I'm quiet but I think my irrational disdain shows. I'm really not antisocial anywhere but live poker actually, it's weird.

i had bad experience s at live. as in dealers at foxwoods keep
making ridiculous mistakes to screw me over.

I did have one awesome hand last time I played live though. 200nl, about 200 bb deep, I open raise to $24 UTG with AA, the button calls, as do both blinds (SB has to defend, and BB is just getting too good of odds to fold). Flop comes A73, SB leads for $6, BB folds, I raise to 75. Button tanks and calls, SB folds. Turn comes 6, I lead for 150, button tanks and calls. River comes another 3, I push, button tanks, says "I don't think you have an ace" and shows down T high.
