I'm not a huge scotch buff, but I think that putting it in the fridge is a bit ghetto - sounds sorta like serving a red wined chilled or something.

WTF? My understanding is that scotch is best at normal room temperature or slightly cooler (hence people who drink it with one ice cube). Putting it in the fridge sounds like an abomination.

That was always my understanding, not having previously been a big scotch drinker (it's growing on me now). But I was around at a friends place who had some in the fridge. Was wondering if that was normal...I guess it's not.

I mean, it's really not "normal" to store any liquor in the fridge I don't think. A lot of people do it though just because cheap liquor goes down more smoothly chilled. I personally have a hard time with straight vodka unless it's cold, etc.

lol I didn't intend it to be jerking material obv. Also, Conan is a really bad interviewer. He could learn a thing or two from great English interviewers (Parkinson and Ross).
