Default Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: SEPT #2

I was just doing some poker tracker stast analysis and it appears I rarely check raise. I have a rate of 0.38 for over a 100,000 hands. Pokey advises in PT sticky a 0.50 minimum. Can anyone give me some pointers of when to check raise and what type of flops.

I was thinking with sets on drawy boards when i'm sure villain will bet.
Dry flops and when villain makes a weak cbet.
Nut flush draws some of the time but not every time, i see alot of people making a bad check raise with a flush draw on a board with paint.
How about Open ended straight draws? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

My only complaint is that people are giving bad advice and thus the purpose of these strategy forums (making ppl better, generating good discussion which people can learn from and improve from) is being compromised.

Doesn't good discussion usually stem from bad advice ???

This is an internet forum, not an oracle or the holy grail
