I wonder if anyone still questions the legitimacy of this thread.

i just had a conversation with a 2p2'er about the legitimacy of this thread.

on the balance of probabilities, I think you are telling the truth (Simply for the sharkscope results. I don't think there is a large group of people who would sacrifice a week of their life for an online scam like this with no obvious "gain"). However, I still don't think it is a good idea.

i'd be a lot less against turning pro on $3.40/$6.50 SNGs if you developed more of an idea of where exactly you expect to go in the future.

i think you need to consider:
a) an exit strategy
b) what happens if you are unable to play for a period of time (eg, injury, computer blows up, whatever, etc.)
c) what is your long-term goal here? to earn $65/day for the rest of your life?
d) taxes. i think this will be a major hole in your life plan

...which is precisely why open-pushing on that flop is really bad.

a standard continuation bet (250? 300?) would be perfect.

if he pushes, you would need to fold. if he folds, you've risked the minimum number of chips to pick up the pot.

[/ QUOTE ]True. I think I got too used to low limit player calling all in bets like that in sng with a "nothing high."
