Jesus, they don't die. I was just going to wonder why they didn't pull the goalie.

Guess you don't have to when you score 4 fricking powerplay goals.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah WTF with our special teams. I hope Ottowa doesn't have a 2man advantage in every game like last year.

Hell of a series after Game 1. I'm glad I don't have to see Jagr anymore, he's a beast. Ottawa doesn't have a player like that at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

no, but they do have heatley spezza and alfredsson, who are tough to contain.

should be an interesting conference final for sure. these two teams are quite different from last year.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, for sure, but they aren't the physical type like Jagr that give the Sabres issues. Much better matchup there. Should be amazing intensity, lots of history here. Last year's series, Neil/Drury with the ensuing brawl, I think you will see a different Sabres team than the first two rounds. And obviously, I'm not a huge Emery fan, Buffalo has been able to get into his head several times, including the last two times they've played. The first was the brawl game, and Buffalo had already put three on the board in the 2nd. Then two days later, they put up five on him.

I just hope it's a high flying series, that should favor Buffalo.

Alfie is 100x more physical than Jagr.

sabres have really not had it all postseason - the senators really cut through NJ. i think it will be a much closer matchup than last year - also ottawa doesn't have that overrated pilon chara.

No doubt. It's going to be very close, and the better goalie will make the difference, which is why I like Buffalo's chances.

GG Sabres. Good luck against the Sens.

You couldn't really ask for a more exciting playoff hockey game right there.

Guess it's time to get the Mets avatar out....

i should also add that the rangers have pretty classy fans to cheer after the loss like that. Having watched the Devils game the night before, i was somewhat shocked at how quiet it was the entire game. I guess though, that the Devils have been great for a long time, so playoff runs have been pretty common.

Lunqvist was right up there with loungo and turco as best goalies in the playoffs so far. Rangers fans have a lot to look forward too with a solid coach, some good young defenceman ( yea i know who they are now ), and some star power. How much cap space do the Rangers have?

In terms of playing the Sens, this will (hopefully) be a great series. I think the Sabres have a slight edge in forwards, although if the pizza line gets going, it might be a draw. The Sens have better d, but the Sabres's is a bit underrated (although Brian Campbell is overrated and i think playing hurt). Miller is the better goalie, but not by a wide margin.

rangers fans love cheering after losses nowadays - and i bet some of these clowns cheering are the same people who boo a-rod.

seriously when did putting an effort become ovation worthy? i mean the attitude of my fellow devils fans disgusts me too, but rangers fans treat their team like they're members of the special olympics these days
