XANTA'S TIPS ON THE POKER

1. Take shot at 2-4x your normal stakes
2. Stack maniac when you flop a set and he raises your 3bb bet to around 70bb.
3. Raises AA UTG, laugh when deepstacked nit 3bets big, 4bet, call shove and dance while 400bb slides your way.

Microstakes stud is sooooooo much easier. Convince me to keep playing NLHE. Heh. SRYSLY you can play face up for profit. I'm 100% sure of this. WTF I'm up 20+ BB in less than 100 hands. I do this every session.

[ QUOTE ]
-Statement-

I have said before that I think the games are much more difficult then before at 50nl at stars--- however, since mid july--- not sure if it has anything to do with the new world series of poker broadcasting--- the games are a looot softer--- at this point in time I think it is very possible for good nl50 players running normal to beat the game for 8-10ptbb again--- which means winrates around 50$ an hour!!!! get after it kids--- they are as soft as ive seen in the last 6 months right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree completely with this. I have been rocking >$40/hour at 50nl since July. (85k hands) despite going nowhere near that in the past.

ssdex (or others) 3 questions:

1. Why is this happening?
2. Will it last?
3. Is the same happening at 100nl? (my last try at 100nl was less than pretty)

Nice short session tonight. Full Tilt's tables are WAY faster than Stars, and I like it.

Fun hand: Button is table coaching like crazy...total fishtard but has built a decent stack by minbetting two streets then shoving the river with the nuts and getting paid.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $9.65
BB: $15.20
UTG: $8.70
MP: $35.75
Hero (CO): $25.75
BTN: $81.80

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $0.25, MP calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.35, BTN calls $1.35, 2 folds, UTG calls $1.10, MP folds

Flop: ($4.65) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.00, BTN calls $4.00, UTG folds

Turn: ($12.65) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $8.50, BTN calls $8.50

River: ($29.65) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets all-in for $11.90, BTN calls $11.90

Pot Size: $53.45 ($2.65 Rake)

BTN had J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$25.75)
Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Nines) and WON (+$25.05)

In chat afterwards:

Button says: Nice hand fish, I was representing two pair and you're too dumb to realize it.
Me: I was trying to represent air but I actually had two pair lolz.
Button sits out.
Button says: You're an idiot.
Button stands up.
