Is there a such thing as a cashout curse?

Because I requested a cashout, then dropped 5 buyins at 100NL in less than 2 hours.

I would never advise anyone to watch a serialized drama like The Wire, LOST, Sopranos, etc. from the middle. I would always advise the start.
Went to a Jays game in a Box today with Eagles, BigT, Inyaface, Apathy and others that was pretty sweet.
Cashout curse is actually real because you rarely run at expectation and will usually run above or below it. So you run above expectation cashout than regress.

Background
Back in June I flew home for a wedding. After the reception I go to the bars and end up meeting some girl that had hooked up with a college buddy of mine like 3 years ago. I never really thought she was that hot because she was always too skinny and the buddy she hooked up with was a huge tool. For example, he once threatened to kill me because I left him at the bars(I had a good reason as 2 girls wanted a "tour" of my apartment).

So I get the girl back to my apartment and we end up talking til 7 AM. We finally went to bed after a little sexy time(no sex just some makeout). She goes home sometime while I'm passed out but leaves me a note that told me not to be a stranger and call her. I wake up sometime in the afternoon and realize I have 15 minutes to catch my flight back to Vegas. Unfortunately, my rental car, a killer white Ford Fusion, couldn't go the 400 MPH I needed it to to catch my flight.

I try to piece the previous night together but it's a huge blur. I remember the girl had nice boobs and going to bed at 7 AM but that's about it. Never planned on calling the girl because I was headed back to Vegas for a month plus. I did store her number in my phone though.

After I get back from Vegas I see her bartending at some bar. Wow, she was really [censored] hot. Tall, blonde, with a killer body. I try to talk to her but it's obvious that she's completely ignoring me. It didn't bother me too much as she had every right to as I didn't call her.

Fast forward to last Thursday. I'm walking home with a slight buzz after a rather uneventful night out when I see some old fat guy puking want appears to be a combo of Jaeger and refried beans. There are a few people close by that are reveling in this guys demise. One of them is this tall blonde with what appears to be a perfect body. Bingo, it's the chic. Having nothing to lose I go over to talk to her. She's much warmer this time around and after about 25 seconds of schmoozing she invites me back to her place.

Turns out that she has a sick personality and is really funny. This was probably why we stayed up until 7 AM back in June. We again stay up most of the night talking and laughing. We talk about me not calling her and I clear it up with the promise to call her this time.

My phone had started to flake out on Thursday night. By Friday it was completed fubared. I popped my sim card into another phone but only had 10 stored numbers on it because the rest were stored to my phones hard drive. I was out of town for a wedding Friday and Saturday so I could not get my phone fixed(not sure if my numbers will even be able to be salvaged). Once I got back to town I went to her house but nobody was home.

What's my next play? Go back to her house tomorrow, possibly leave a note if no one's home? Call my buddy that hooked up with her to see if he still has her number? Go by the bar she works at tomorrow?


Cliff notes:
-I meet hot chic in June but was too wasted to realize that she's any better than any other skank so I never call her.
-Hang out with same girl again on Thursday and make promise to call her.
-Phone is busto so I don't have her number.

That's good to know, because I was running at 3ptBB/100 for a week before I cashed out. Now that I am regressing I know I am a losing player and can just quit. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

or go to her house, i think you've spent enough time with her that it won't be creepy.

just knock on her door, make it clear you can only stay for a few minutes as you were just passing through, and that your phone is fubar etc etc which is why, since you were in the area, that you would stop by. come up with a clever excuse so she wants you even more
