If the Falcons are delaying for any reason other than debating between Kalil and Blalock and which one might be there in 5 picks I will choke a bitch.

I don't mind Detroit getting a QB... they have pretty much one of the two best young WR duos in the NFL, may as well get a potential franchise QB to start buiilding chemistry with them right now.

I guess I just really really don't see any franchise QBs in this 2nd tier. I mean, how often do 2nd tier QBs turn into not just competent QBs, but really good franchise QBs?

Legit question, because I don't know.

My main problem is that Detroit has two 3rds and I really want Hughes but with needs at LB and DE for sure, I just don't know how likely it is.

I love draft day... let's you see which franchises are run by competent people and which... aren't.

It's hard to doubt San Diego and their draft success the past few years, but they gave up quite a bit here.

They just didn't want to have to think about all those picks, better let CHI worry about them.

EDIT: Good pick for ATL, maybe give Vick a chance to grow a little.

SD gave up a lot, but they didn't too. I mean they don't really NEED all those picks. They're a solid solid team with few glaring holes. Unfortunately, the player they got may not be the guy to fill that hole for good. Time will tell.

If Weddle turns out to be good, then I see no problem whatsoever. It is just fortunate for the Bears to be in the right spot at the right time too.
