Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
Eat crow? The game was 5 handed, you do not even know where the money came from. With these stacks there could have been 2 million dollar pots, both coin flip situations. Like the blog said he was up 1.2, down to 400~~ i.e. he lost the early 760K lead he had and came back up. Yeah Brian must feel gratified and the sweet taste of revenge after Sammy was so rude by calling him a fast internet kid... nothing more insulting.

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
75s,
"lol, hit and play till i'm unstuck then run back to santa barbara and never returnaments" Uh, one thing that seems pretty apparent from these sessions is that Brian is not afraid to gamble at these stakes and is surely not running away from anything. |

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
snag,
"yes i dont understand why this game wouldnt continue over some more sessions and why rugby is heading out of vegas. did sammy quit giving action, or is it brian who is quitting the game?" I suspect Brian or others will provide us with some facts here, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Brian still wants to play Sammy HU at these stakes, but might not be interested in playing this high with some of the other lineups he considers less profitable for him. |

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
All,
One more point I forgot to mention earlier. I'm much less worried than a lot of people about being cheated, card mechanics, cameras, etc. But when people are looking to run it blind for 500k, I bet I'd be thinking about that in the back of my head, even at a place like the Bellagio. |

Also, guys, somehow lost in the mist of all this is a couple of straight 100k flips.

While it seems like Brian definitely has what it takes to sit in this game, at the same time I think a lot of you vastly underestimate how easy it would have been for him to end up down 500k or a million instead of up almost 2M. [/ QUOTE ] I mean you could take any two players and regardless of the skill difference between the two, I could see either one losing alot of money at these stakes over such a small sample size. It was fun to see aba take so much off him though, especially after Farha's " You don't belong here" comment on HSP and alot of fanboys assuming that online pros can't possibly beat live pros because of all the "tells" they will give off, thus allowing the live pros to make their sooper magical soul reads. |

Re: Farha VS. Sbrugby
brian had 100% of himself and as far as i know (as of mid last night) the largest single pot brian played was about 500k when brian had AQ on AATJ board AI against sammy (presumably sammy had Ax).

You quoted it, so you must not have missed the part where he dropped 800K after. [/ QUOTE ] No I caught that. I quoted what he mentioned about HU play against Farha. He said he was up 1 million on Farha, then the game filled up with other players. So HU against Farha: Was up 1 million I'm not referring to anything after that. |
