Jeremy,

Some speculation on the nazguls?

[/ QUOTE ]

Mark and Herbie are likely to be wolves together.

I don't remember villager-Dustin ever shouting as much as he did last night. It feels like he's trying way too hard to act exactly opposite of how he did in CYOA.

[ QUOTE ]
How are you?

[/ QUOTE ]

Good, thanks.

[ QUOTE ]
What do you think of my GT1T plan?

[/ QUOTE ]

It sounds fine. I'd be surprised if he weren't Gollum though. At this point, the village is so far behind that the real Gollum would come out to help the village, or else it might be over before Gollum can win. If he is a wolf, he's likely to be either Sauron or the roleblocker, I think, since it would be most beneficial for him to stay alive as long as possible. Making that claim as another wolf wouldn't really make any sense, since he'd always die after n7.

so the two possibilities you choose to consider with gt1t is that he could be gollum, or else he could be a villager that wanted to somehow use it to vote out luckay???

any reason why you dont consider the possibility of gt1t being a wolf?

[/ QUOTE ]

No, I see it that GT1T is gollum period. The rest of what I said is that I didn't know why he would come out and was speculating his reasoning.

[/ QUOTE ]

yes. to everyone except vr it is incredibly obvious gt1t is gollum.

but when you speculated on his reasoning, you chose ONLY to focus on reasoning that a VILLAGER would have to counterclaim gollum. you didnt even consider reasons why a WOLF might counterclaim.

the reason you didnt consider that is because you already know he isnt a wolf.

If Herbie was a villager the wolves would've been pushing for him by now. Especially on d1. And yesterday, he had some heat and it fell apart because no one would jump onto him.

[/ QUOTE ]
Nez,
Are you a wolf?

[/ QUOTE ]

Why are you asking questions to which you already know the answer?

Seriously, if you were village, the wolves would've been pouncing on you by now yes? Especially considering some villagers have found you as a wolf.

I think we should pick a day for Sam to come out with Frodo's picks, and, on that day, require gt1t to identify Sam before he claims.

Good/Bad?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've thought about this plan some, and I don't like it. Mostly because we have no idea how much info they'll have on any given day - forcing out half our seer team seems bad, and I think the chances of GT1T being evil instead of Gollum are pretty low, so it's kind of a high risk/low chance of reward scenario to me.

What day would you suggest for forcing out Sam, if you do go with this plan? Day 5? Day 6?

And would also be a pretty good explanation for why I am still alive - either that or the wolves still think that they can get me lynched

[/ QUOTE ]

Or.... you know... the fact that they are killing seers and stuff. That could possibly be why you are still alive.

And lollerskates at revenge voting me so quick.

Herbie probably not changing.

Also dmk:

In and of itself I don't think NichP's claim is very believeable... but I can't justify a lynch of a claimed angel. And maybe in the postgame we will see who was right, but you have to be pretty damn sure that the wolves would NEVER rb and kill Gandalf there to lynch a claimed Aragorn.

Nez:

It seems like your 180 on me is based on that one post where I asked gt1t if his read on Herbie is the same. Also, I asked both Luckay and gt1t that question about the offer because I felt that Luckay in particular was possible to claim as a villager/village power role, and I wanted to get an idea of if they thought the evils might nightkill a claimed Gollum.

I don't want to sound like I am emotionally manipulating you, but if you're not a wolf, this has got to be one of the WORST reasons to take someone from 100% villager to 100% evil EVER.

[/ QUOTE ]

FMXDA,

I know on the outside it looks bad. But 1) There was zero reason for a villager to ask that question. Zero. Whether he's gollum or not, his reads aren't going to magically change when he claims.

Also, last night your timing of the "SWITCH TO RICH" was way too convenient.

Also, your list today is very random.

When you make a villagery post, I'll let you know. But you have me convinced right now.
