And as for the benching Andruw thing in the other thread, it's worth having him in there just so Willie Harris isn't playing CF. Bat him 8th for all I care. His defense, even declining, is worth having him in there.

You think Cox is leaving Hudson out there because he feels the pen has been getting over-worked all season?

This game is too important to take that chance. He also gives his veteran starters too much leeway(see last night). If they say they are OK, he will let them go until they are either getting destroyed or they reach a certain pitch count. He's always had a late hook with his horses.

I didn't take into account who was coming up for the Mets, although Reyes smashed that last one. Good inning for Hudson. He has to be done now. If Moylan is available, use him, otherwise use Yates.

Yates, Dotel, Wickman.
