Maybe stop playing NL2K with a 10K BR? Weren't you even playing NL5K before? Playing over your bankroll is why even great players are destined to go busto. If you have a 3.5K BR, play NL200 and rebuild.

[/ QUOTE ]

i had about 20k fwiw. but your words couldnt be truer.

[/ QUOTE ]
I know you HAD 20K. But did you stop playing NL2K when your BR hit 10K? From the graph it looks like you played all the way down to a 5K BR...

[/ QUOTE ]

well by that logic i guess you could say i was playing with a 5k BR too. i make bad decisions.

Thinking of getting some coaching. Feel free to PM me, please include references and description of service. My current game is 2/4 which I am beating quite comfortably, 6bb/100 over past 25k hands, usually 5 or 6 tabling. Basically looking to take my game to the next level.

thanks

I think you'll have better results if you're actively seeking out a coach rather than having people come to you.

[/ QUOTE ]

i hear 3-bet.net has some "coaches"

[/ QUOTE ]

I contacted them twice, never got a response, I'm done with them...

[/ QUOTE ]

tru that... krantz i've applied twice and never got a response from 3b.net even after talking to you personally. whats the deal?

[/ QUOTE ]

Herrigel, I don't know why you weren't contacted but it's possible you input an incorrect email address on your application, which seems to happen from time to time and there's no way for us to get in touch with the applicant. PM me if you're still interested.

bboy, feel free to PM me again, i remember speaking with you but i'm not exactly sure why you never got started :-(

Well, seemed my adress was correct enough to send me your Newsletter
I contacted a coach on my own now, thanks.

you actually can't get on the newsletter unless you're a processed app, so its likely our response was caught in your spam filter or you accidentally deleted it. best of luck, though!

No offense. Merely potential customer feedback. It took me about a week to get in touch with one Coach on your site. Three days later, it fell through with that coach. I am also done with the site.

This is how it should be handled:

Application is instantly acknowledged. Instantly Forwarded to all potential coaches, who actually read the APP, who then reply to applicant in one business day with qualifications (non tailored is fine) and a brief reply to customers' app.

Hahaha, Krantz, you guys completely suck [censored] at processing applications. Do you think that it's possible, when a ton of people report never hearing back after submitting an application, that your applicant pool isn't 95% idiots, and your system sucks?

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the feedback, albeit with a slight negative buzz :-(. It's been a long journey to get 3-bet.net to where it is now, and we're still growing and getting better, and trying to achieve that perfect dynamic between student/coach/administration that the site requires. I'll address a few things, though:

1- the application processing system has had bugs, but is now completely fixed. spam filters WERE catching our responses.

2- it's very tough to get back to every single application on the same day, let alone set up a student with a coach on that day. many of our coaches have other jobs, time committments, or just don't feel like coaching at certain points in time or are unsure of their schedule or if they'll be able to maintain a committment to the student, etc. ideally the process takes 1-2 days, with some it can definitely take longer. but we're certainly actively working on shortening the process and we've already gotten 10 times better than when the site first got up. i'm very dedicated to making everyone happy, obviously, as consumer happiness = more money for everyone, including satisfied students.

3- Prices. We've gotten a lot of feedback that people can't afford coaching services or have heard that 3-bet takes too much off the top, which just simply isn't true. We take less than Cardrunners does, %-wise from their coaching offers, and have even taken a smaller cut because of valuable input after the new year. And many, many of our students can attest that the money is easily well spent and correlates directly to a winrate increase.

4- Another brief note on prices: coaching is not the shortcut to winning 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars. There are other resources you should be maximizing your use of before you seek a coach. Read poker books. Read 2+2 and post religiously. Speak with other people over PM/IM about poker. Join Cardrunners and watch some videos. While coaching isn't a last resort, I don't believe it should be everyone's first resort, either.

Anyhow this is getting long-winded, but please keep any positive/negative feedback coming. I really want to continuously be improving the company as much as I possibly can. I can be reached via PM or at 3-bet (3bet.info@gmail.com). Thanks guys.
