San Diego Blows a late lead and Brewers lose in extras. Cubs now 3 back in the Central and only 1.5 back in the Wild Card. Who would have thunk it at the beginning of June?

...and the Cubs have the weakest schedule left in all of baseball. Good times in Wrigleyville.

let him win the cy young in the year AFTER we sign him long-term. every useless statistic or award he gets is costing us money/a chance to resign him =\

Z's gonna have to leapfrog Young, Peavy and Penny for that to happen. He'll have to win 22 and have a sub 3.00 ERA, IMO.

but if he goes like, 10-3 for the rest of the season and penny slows down (which he has got to, one would think) I think Z would have a shot.
