Re: Sixth Sense Build 54 Released
[ QUOTE ]
I do not like this toggle method. Why not have a dialog box of preferences? [/ QUOTE ] You can do it in a dialog, just hit CTRL-O to open up the Advanced Options and change it that way. [ QUOTE ] This is a very poor/cumbersome way of doing this. Are you going to add an easier way of donig this in a near future upgrade? [/ QUOTE ] We'll probably add something to make that easier, but it won't be high priority since you can already do it. [ QUOTE ] when using the "open multiple tables" option the process is VERY slow. [/ QUOTE ] You can try changing the SS process priority under Advanced Options, lowering it to "Normal" might make the Party tables more responsive. Also, make sure you are running the de-monster script, otherwise party tables chew up way too much CPU. -Ben |

[ QUOTE ] It seems like there are new postgres.exe processes started each time I make a new Sixth Sense search and the processes does not seem to die. Do you create new connections to the database each time a new search is made and forget to close them at the end of the search??? [/ QUOTE ] Does this only happen for me? [/ QUOTE ] I'll check on that. Depending on Postgres' caching system it might be normal to do that. I'm sure that the connection gets freed, but the ADO driver for it is pretty buggy, so its possible it doesn't auto close the connection. -Ben |

Mismatched BB/100 between PAHUD / Sixth Sense. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, we have a BB/100 bug logged already. I think its off by a factor of two. This should be fixed soon. BTW, our fish scoring system does not use BB/100 at all. Thanks for the bug report on seat #'s, we'll look into that. -Ben |

Re: New Software Announcement - SIXTH SENSE
i have never been able to see my stats/score displayed, even when seated at a table.
just shows blank for all my stats. is this normal? is there a way to see? also, the stack sizes have seemed to show up identically for opponents who are seated at multiple tables. i.e., player joe blow is seated at 3 tables. his stack bb's show the same at each table. and lastly, i also have the seat numbers showing up wrong. in 6 handed, it will show players at seats 1,2,3,4,4,3 or 1,2,3,4,6,2, for example. |

As for the stack sizes, that might be a bug, we'll look into it. Thanks! -Ben |

Turn off the firewall, then see if SS works. If that fixes it, then you can turn your firewall back on, but then add SS in the "Exceptions list" on the 2nd tab. -Ben |

Re: New Software Announcement - SIXTH SENSE
i just tried that, ive never had my firewall on! oops. so i put it on and added SS as an exception.
ive checked things like game filter and its still set to 2-4nl and 3-6nl so thats fine. i may of opened the aggregator since last time it worked (i dont really know what it does but i dont seem to need it). when i click on config databases it says: PT agg running: running PT agg first scan: not finished PT agg database: not created that may give you some clues, im not sure. many thanks again. |
