When the starters were all going at least 7 and Okijima and Pap were lights out I deluded myself that we didn't need Timlin. If he's 75% of what he has been for us it will be better than the likes of Romero, Pinero and the like.

this i agree with. still, i view it as a step in the right direction.

also WTF with todays AAAA lineup?

if your gonna sit manny (which i understand has to happen sometimes) at least keep pedroia in the lineup.
