Default Re: +$1800 in 55 hands at $1/$2 - sustainable?

Well, I'm playing much worse tonight. Fortunately all the money I withdrew is out of harm's way, just playing with about £150 tonight.

This hand blows chunks. Serves me right for trying to get tricky, half-hitting a flop, and finding my opponents have all kinds of draws against me:

Playing much worse = half-stacking 2/4 and raising up dumb hands that you probably don't have the implied odds to play?

My flop call probably sucks, but Wottacabage had shown himself to be laughably bad, so I wasn't worried about him. And since he's betting to steal the pot from the pre-flop raiser, BowAmin's possible hand range weakens and there's no reason he has to have the nuts rather than a draw. Perhaps it's a fold since I knew that even if I had the best hand on the flop, I'd have to dodge half the deck...

Yeah but couldn't you equally say my opponents suck for allowing themselves to get stacked in an unraised pot when they know they have the same hand and no redraws? (Though one of them does have a backdoor flush).

[/ QUOTE ]
yeah my bad, obviously your opponents are terrible for getting their money in with the actual nuts and your unconventional play was simply you adapting to exploit their obvious leak

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, I hadn't realised stacking off with a flopped straight no redraw when you know one opponent has the same hand is good Omaha.

[/ QUOTE ]

They had a retard in between them that made their play obvoiusly correct.

That's because all the clubs happen to be live here, and both opponents happen to have exactly the nuts with no redraws. Sorry for the strat in BBV, but this really is a fold when it gets back to Jim I think with the uneven stacks. If they both had him covered it is a (thinnish) call, but here I think a fold followed by swearing when the club hits is standard. For some sobriety, this could have easily been the picture:

r u serious

That's like the worst case scenario and he still has 25% equity in a 3way pot. OP said this was a superloose table so what about those best case scenario's where he is up to some donkeys lower flush draw? I don't think you're ever making a big mistake getting it in here.

Now Jimm, why the [censored] are you playing 1/2 with like a 150$ bankroll? If you really love poker, and have nothing else going on in your life (I've read your blog), why not grind the micros?

I read some of your blog Jimm and it reminds me alot of the book All In by Mitchell Symons. Very entertaining.
