Re: If I could have any RB/WR/TE on my favorite NFL team....

[ QUOTE ] 5.) AP is a better running back than Bush. [/ QUOTE ] AP looks like a better runner than Bush based on a few games. Keep in mind that AP certainly has a much better O-Line than Bush, and Sean Payton is a retard. [/ QUOTE ] O RLY? |

Re: If I could have any RB/WR/TE on my favorite NFL team....
I've become convinced that he's terrible at offensive game planning (which is what I was referring to when I called him a retard). He loves cutesy plays. Screens almost never work for the Saints because the O-line can't execute. He goes empty backfield way too often, especially when it's 3rd and short. He likes to give the ball to Aaron Stecker way too much. Etc.
He also had a pretty bad offseason with Robert Meachem, Jason David, and no improvement to the linebackers, but he's pretty good at evaluating talent and putting together a good team. |

Thay3r,
Vikes O-Line isn't "ridiculously awesome" AP's injury history is a broken collarbone. Not a massive knee reconstruction or something, which will hurt him going forward. |

JoA, who do you add to the Saints, and (more importantly) if the Patriots can add any player in the league, who do you think they add? I don't think Sammy Morris is a top 10 back. But even if you put LT on the Patriots, how much better are they going to get? Is he going to be like a 6 YPC guy or something? [/ QUOTE ] I think I just had an orgasm imagining Brady pitching the ball to LT who throws a halfback pass to Moss for a TD. |

Is Reed good at covering TE? He's a great gambler/big play guy, but I don't think of him as particularly good in man-to-man coverage, although I could be completely wrong about this. [/ QUOTE ] I'm a bit biased, but I think that Reed is a very good all around player. Just because he excels at the highlight reel stuff, don't assume that he doesn't make the routine plays too. Although to specifically answer your question about covering a TE I'm not 100% certain, but I'd imagine hes well above average at it. |

Re: If I could have any RB/WR/TE on my favorite NFL team....
I didn't realize we could take defensive players. Yeah, [censored] Moss or S Smith, LT. I am going with a d-line stud like Tommie Harris, Seymour, Peppers, Freeney, Haynesworth, etc.

Freeney would be a particularly terrible pick.

[/ QUOTE ] Pudge, I dunno if the Vikes O-Line counts as "ridiculously awesome" or not, but with who is on the line, it's miles better than the Saints line, especially with an injured Jammal Brown. |
