Re: Hand from Borgata WPT
The fact that he doesn't get upset at all when the floor comes over to make a ruling really confuses me. I feel that if he had AA or KK and was angle shooting he would make a scene and/or act visibly upset about his "costly mistake." That being said, this hand still confuses the crap out of me and I really don't know what line to take here.

Re: Hand from Borgata WPT
BB is weak and isn't angle shooting. Key thing is the stack size. If UTG calls and hero calls he's turn raise, it is only about pot sized bet to put him all in on the river.
Edit: By "weak" I mean he doesn't have AA, KK or TT. |

[/ QUOTE ] He is not tricky enough to rep a "costly mistake". he's ok with the ruling because he's a nice guy - flexible, to take the pot down or raise either way, he's OK with that. He really cares about $10K buy-in or satellite in but he knows he has the best hand. Remember, He's straightforward, nice and no experience . You have to be straightforward (NOT BEING TRICKY) to read him well. Edit: On the other hand, If he's very upset about the ruling, you call or go all-in. |

Re: Hand from Borgata WPT
I have spent the past 8 hours at work thinking about this hand, and have realized that ZeeJustin is mindf*cking us. There is no "key". There is no Armenian guy. This whole hand is fictional.

I LOVE the fact that there is no consensus yet on the right answer. |

Re: Hand from Borgata WPT
Since he's a straightforward, not tricky guy, I don't see that he meant to do that tricky play on turn really, It looks like he made a mistake. So he just wanted to call the turn, so what hands he could have here? I don't think he could have a big hand such AA/KK or AK, because any jack or queen on river would make a str8 for one of his opponents then he would mostly raise turn than call. I think he probably holds QQ or JJ and even TT is likely here. I would call and lead river betting something around 4-5k.
