I just want to forget September.
I had to start shortstacking to stop myself from spewing. Cleared the stars bonus which left me just over evens online -$125.00 at NL25 FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even managed to bubble on all the VIP freerolls, thank [censored] I play in the softest home game in the western world.

October Goals
- Short break then re-evaluate
- 10,000 Hands (I have a Job)
- Run better.
- Identify and stop tilt.
- Move to softer site, Euro time at stars is like 18-25% VPIP @ NL25
- Learn how to put pictures of graphs showing that I suck onto 2+2 (Seriously I tried uploading to photobucket etc but it dont work - what do you guys use?)

Not the best month, been a bit busy starting my new course. Its a shock to the system to actually have something to do during the day. Plus i split up with my gf. All in all not the best month

poker wise: currently on a 25k hand breakeven stretch on FT and a 10k break even stretch on stars. I don't think i'm playing bad, so its only a matter of time

Up $863 over all sites, at least half of that was bonuses and most of the rest was a successful shot at $100NL. About 35k hands played.
One thing i did manage to do was to 21-table for an hour without timing out. Not sure i will do this often, but i feel easily comfortable 16-tabling across two sites

Goals for October:
1) maintain Iron man, try to move up to platinum
2) enough hands to accomplish 1)
3) Move up to 100NL at some point this month. I'm rolled for it, yet i can't seem to do it
4) $250+ in rakeback

5) post more!!

My month consisted mostly of tourney play - but ive moved onto FR NL100 and PL100 at Stars and over the last 9 days (of which i played just 7) ive booked 13k hands.

This has worked out to 25 hours play, 2.32ptBB/100 and an hourly of 23.91 - but the first 2800 hands i four tabled so my hourly is off a good chunk.

Its a good start, but obv 13k hands doesnt say much all in all.

Oct goals:

1, My number of hands played per day needs to increase a lot more. This means more hours and more grinding overall. Im happy 9 tabling, i just need to play more than 25 hours a week.

2, My total VPP figure for the year is 11013 - I need to gain just under 30k VPPs next month to be on target for my Supernova by 08 goal. Its doable, especially with goal 1, and i hope to smash that target, but its my unbreakable goal - i must not fall behind the quarterly goal in the first 3rd of it.

3, Spend more time in the Strat forums than the damn Off Topic ones on 2+2. My game is probably 2 years worse than it should be due to them. Fun distraction, yes, taking up majority of my time, no.

4, Renew Cardrunners membership. Watch lots of vids. Profit. I wasted to much of my membership last time round and will get more value from it this time. Honest.

5, Read Professional No Limit Holdem - i own it, why havent i read it? Because im a dumb ass is why.

6, If i find time between goals 1 and 2, spend a few hours a week in my local casino grinding the super weak cash games and crushing the no foldem holdem donks that live in those games.

7, Find time to have fun. Even if that means learning to enjoy working my ass off.
