you should probably edit this out before BBV4L people see it. You'll have people with reg dates of today with 10k posts by tomorrow by just posting then deleting then repeating.

I doubt it. There are too many steps in making/deleting a post and they would get exposed really fast. All someone has to do is refresh a page to spot a chronic thread bumper. Report that person to your nearest friendly mod and blammo, IP ban time.

EDIT: but BBV4L seems to make smart people do stupid things, so I'm sure it will happen and you'll lose another regular.

Revised strategy.

I've just noticed that at the bottom-right it still shows the correct number of "Topic views", so all you have to do is open every 1000+ thread and glance down to see if it's a popular read or not.

If it's not, you could leave a post telling the next guy, so he doesn't even have to look down.
