To all those saying yes:

Hell, I'd rather do the mom than the daughter, and it isn't even close.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd rather do the mother and the daughter together at the same time while being fed strawberry pie at regular intervals due to mother and daughter being into each other quite a bit. But hey, that's just me.

WTF is with you and pie now. All the pie you can eat inevitably leads you to thoughts of yet more pie? Get ahold of yourself, man.

I'm 30 and my girlfriend is 38 and we don't have any problems. It is agreed though that neither of us want children.

My last 2 girlfriends were 7 & 8 years older than me. I dated both for 2 years. When we met they looked and acted as though they were the same age as myself but as time goes on the differences will show. Eventually you realize that it just won't work.

after you get about 35 or so what becomes most important is whether you are happy to be around each other, rather than looks or age.

You can't be with someone who you have differences with? Also, the fact that it didn't work for you means nothing as far as whether it can work for someone else.

in my mid-late 20s i had a long term gf who was 1 year older than me and that was plenty. in an indirect way, it might have been why the relationship didnt work out. maturity-wise we were 10 years apart.

[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think this had anything to do with age. She could have been the same age as you and still much more mature.

I'm very mature at 26, and that's what she says she likes about me. We get along really well, so for now I'm seeing where it goes.
