I have only seen him playing once, on Betfair a few months back, and that was about 3am UK time, so late evening US time. So my guess is that would be the best time to catch him. But you'll be lucky as he seems to play short sessions. |

Re: Bluescouse in freefall
Hey Jim, I study English too (tho I guess not really cuz' I'm in law school), but if momentarily you will take me as a fellow gonzo journalist, I wanted to know your opinion of American literature, and use of the English language, as compared to over in the Castle States. I read magazines over here like British Blender and FRONT, and notice that "blokes" there put a lot more thought into your word selection than over here. Do you think that is because its an outsider looking in, or do you think the writing is genuinely better there. Sorry Dids, didnt mean to puncture NVG with own agenda, just want a quick opinion if possible.

"good news is that i've been lent £3k more, but this time i have to pay back £3500 by the start of next month and £100 extra for every week after that"
Ugh, hope he doesn't end up in the bottom of the Mersey. |

Re: Bluescouse in freefall
So, he has no job, monthly mortgage payments to meet, and owes £4,000 to friends. In this excerpt from his latest post he tells what he did with the money he had left:
"Tonight i used the £1652 to buy into £40/£80. i got upto about £4500 before dropping back below the £1600 mark and once again getting to about £2800 before going below my buyin mark again. the cards were still going with me though and i managed to climb back upto £5700 and cashed out there. i got my money in early on in the session with the worst of it but otherwise i just hit some nice flops rather than outdraw constantly. no great hands. one i played ridiculously badly where i called 2 pair on the flop, checked behind on the turn and let him hit a straight on the river and then called off a big bet for a £4100 pot. anyway, i run good. i'm going to gamble the £5700 probably, ideally at $25/$50 but £40/£80 if its running." Onwards and upwards! |
