Ya, that kinda makes sense, after repopping, I realized just how deep we were, I really kinda had no idea what I was doing in this game, what do you consider a "good connector" btw?

[/ QUOTE ]

Too late to help you now, but 3-betting with AAxx for approx 20% of your effective stack is asking for trouble in this game unless you know exactly what you are doing and why. 33 to 50%, depending on who you ask, is usually the preferred minimum range if you're going to telegraph your hand like this.

The exception might be if your side cards are well coordinated (J3 doesn't qualify unless it's double suited) or if you 3-bet for a wide range and you think your opponent is sharp enough to realize it.

Edit: "good connector" are two cards that work with each other and/or your aces. Double suited is the best single feature, followed by either a high pair or a gapless connector (i.e. JT etc). The further your side cards move away from each other and your aces the worse your hand becomes (obviously). AAJ3 rainbow can be a pretty marginal hand unless you can get most of your stack head's up (or very little multi-way) in pre-flop.

gg overall though.

DaMethod played that hand so terrible I dont even want to start

Cite that hand when people are curious what PLO players identify as "Holdem player donkeys"

Strictly speaking, he only made one bad move. But oh, what a bad move it was.

On the plus side, Gobbo can see how much worse AAxx can be played.
