wow.. that 98o hand and the Q4s hand are both awfully played.

[/ QUOTE ]

he had a pair and they were playing limit

whats he gonna do, fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

um, yes?

board is KQT9 on the turn in a 3 bet pf pot.

bet/fold turn is much better line than c/c 2 streets.

[/ QUOTE ]

He didn't check call two streets. He check called one.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually he check/called flop turn and river according to his post.

grats gobbo.

i know its not much, but its 10k us and being the youngest player ever to cash in a wsop event (even if it does turn out to be shortlived) is a really awesome record to hold. not to mention you cashed in a horse event, which means it is limit and includes razz.

lol, thanks guys. They misreported a lot of hands. The Q4s one against barny I valuebet the river and he called. The 98o hand against Jan I had a really good read that he was FOS since I had been active during holdem and he was really playing table captain at that point. None of them are capable of making thin valuebets so the chances of him having anything other than two pair, a straight or nothing is pretty nil. The biggest worry is him bluffing with a hand like AT but he bet so quickly there's no way.

The hand against Barny with the Jack was enh on 3rd but I c/r'ed him with 72 in the hole when he had been very aggro so I thought I had the best hand and the best draw. When he caught the ace the pot is so huge I felt like I had to call down.

Like I said, I'm new to the stud games but whatever. The one pot that really really hurt me was:

Barny raises in O8, button calls, I call with KK84 with diamonds in the bb (v loose call but this was with 17 left and they were playing very tight in O8 and Holdem, and I figured on high boards I could win the pot cheaply and maybe win a big one with a set).

Flop A42 two diamonds, I check/call. Turn K, I check, Barny bets, button calls, I raise to 8k, Barny calls, button calls. River 7, I bet, Barny calls with the only hand I'm afraid of (AAxx) and button calls with a bad low and they chop it.

Thanks for the support all. It will be SO SO SO SO SO SO SO nice to play a game tomorrow I feel like I have a big edge in.
