this is how a lot of people are seen, if you don't 3 bet a lot, or bluff a lot, then your not "cool" even though your expectation is higher than the next guy.

I've noticed that if I avoid 4 bets and going nuts with 3 betting my sessions are usually more profitable. Now you have to mix it up and not just 3 bet with the premiums in order to keep people off balance but clashing with regulars just to clash with them isn't the right play.

It's all about making the correct moves lightly if they are making moves on you, if that makes sense.

yeah generally if folks are really noticing you, you are probably spewing too much. biggest winners at these stakes are the quieter folks who make big bluffs just rarely enough that you don't really notice.

Interesting to see what comes out in this thread, aside from the posturing.

And I was about to point out just before futuredoc posted, needfood doesn't seem to be as good as you might think. I have 4K hands on him, and he's a breakeven player. Though I'm sure he's a winner, it seems hard to believe it's as big as some might think.

Of course, I do have FGators running at 5+ptbb/100 over 4K hands as well.

Quioxticist I THINK is brilliant, but it's hard to tell as he has the stats of a drooler. Can't argue as he's a big winner over 1K hands in my DB, and never seems to get his money in bad.

Some of the others in the 1/2 game have FPS IMO, but what do I know?

is Quixotcist is 2p2er?

some sessions he runs like 40/30 and others he plays 21/12.
he's a huge pain in the ass to play against, but seems like a total spewtard most of the time, getting it in with ANY piece of the board.
plays .5/1 to 2/4 and always seems to have 6+ buyin stacks at like 10 tables.
so he really is a longterm winner?

Needfood plays 12 tables at once and is always on. He told me that he is the best player ever because he has played over 1 mil hands this year and is a marginal marginal ptbb winner. I honestly have no respect for the guys' overall game, but I admire his motivation.

A few people that have moved up from 100 that I'm glad have gone away though I'm still stuck there because I suck:

El Rupert (I assume he moved up)
Sun Tzu Reps
Weak Tight
Red Grape
I think FoofChunk used to beat up on me.

At 100 Pirate Petey(sp?) seems to mush his 40VPIP ass in my face at will on days I'm not playing so good.
