Great song choice for the end of ep2.

Didn't Entourage close with it some time past year?

Yeah, in the episode where Vince gets Turtle those personalized sneakers made by the Asian graffiti guy. Its my favorite song by TV On the Radio.

After the first episode i was ecstatic to go try surfing with friends. After the second, not gonna try.

Anyways, I haven't seen lost so I don't know what most of you are talking about. But this show has a lot of promise. Bundy is awesome. What premise are you guys basing on that this will take a direction of either ET or spiritual?

THE Jesus Fking Christ = John From Cincy is kind of clever. How did I not notice that? This [censored] is so trippy omfg

Is anyone else really interested on the whole Ed O'neill angle?

We now know that he has police connections, somehow became a father to Shaun, and seems pretty [censored] in the head right now.

Id love some flashbacks to when he was normal that could also coincide with Butch being on top of his game and what/how he got really [censored] up.

What storylines/questions are you guys most interested in seeing explored (besides JFC, as he seems to be the most obvious)?

--Garrett Dillahunt played the doctor. His name was in the opening credits tonight, which leads me to believe that unlike the parakeet's resurrection, Shaun isn't going to hop out of that bed and walk home right away.

--I've never payed any attention to surfing in my life before last week. Last week I thought, "Meh, looks like kids skateboarding."

Then I saw a JFC promo clip with Keala Kennelly (who plays the chick who works in the Yosts' surf shop). Turns out she's a champion surfer. The promo clip was mostly fluff, but it showed a two-second clip of her surfing a mountain-sized wave in Tahiti or somewhere. It was an awesome sight to behold (and I'm trying not to sound like Spicoli when I use the word "awesome").

I fully expect to spend a lot of time on YouTube watching surfing clips this week.

A quick search of "Keala Kennelly" on YouTube didn't unearth the clip I was looking for, but here's three minutes of chicks surfing bigger waves than we've seen on JFC:

EDIT: No Keala in this one, but here's two minutes of the "mountain-sized waves" I mentioned in Tahiti (I dare you not to hold your breath when that first one rises up):

OK, forget those sissy links. Check out a wave that would make a grown man proud:

I've always been really fascinated by the surf and skateboard scenes, despite the fact that my personality and the environment in which I grew up in is basically completely opposite. Then again, it was foreign to Johnny Utah, and things worked out okay for him in the end.

I think its the "always moving" and the general "eff you" to the rest of society aspects that appeal to me.
