Default Re: List of eWallets for Canadians (#2 of 2)

Hi all, I want to move money from party to stars/tilt but I cant withdraw on party to moneyboookers until I deposit there first but I have no real way to fund my moneybooker account since my credit cards are in canadian dollars and it needs to be verified in US.

Can someone trade me some moneybooker money for money on a poker site? (assuming moneybookers do P2P xfers?)

I dont need much, just enough to deposit to party so I can start withdrawing.

Thanks.

So I just had a ridiculous encounter with Instadebit. I asked both their online chat cs rep and a telephone cs rep about the verification deposit that was supposed to have been made to my bank account. This is clearly outlined on their website here, under the VERIFYING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT
Header. Both agents had no idea what I was talking about, and just kept saying 'we don't make verification deposits' until I pointed them to their own webpage which contradicted them. At this point I got the 'contact security@instadebit.com' schpiel.

I only care about verification because it's supposed to result in increased transaction limits. I'm supposed to get an email from a rep (one who'se hopefully in the know) tomorrow, I'll post back with a TR.

Did you get that sorted out yet? I created my Instadebit account on May 7th and the verifcation deposit just showed up on my online banking statement. I entered in the amount at Instadebit and my 7-day limit is now $1000.

Will provide a trip report on the withdrawl back to the bank account once my Empire Casino cashout is processed.

Instadebit is great. In less than a week I was able to set up an account, make a withdrawal from AP, and have it show up in my bank account.

I've found them to be great, but the situation you describe is quite odd. When you deposited on to MB via CC, you did check the box that the funds WOULD be used for gaming, I hope? If so, I'd contact MB, hopefully it's just a mixup.

I, like Bobo, have found MB to be great.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.

I checked that it would be for gaming.

I have emailed them - but of course it appears they are a Mon-Fri operation.

I haven't requested one yet myself but cardman's post earlier in this thread stated it took 3 weeks. Another of his reports said wires took 3-7 days.

If anyone else has MB trip reports I'm eager to read them.
