Have there been a lot of shots of Ivey playing golf on TV? I remember the one with him, RWIII, and Howard but that's about it. That was 2 1/2 - 3 years ago.

Right but he couldn't even hit the ball correctly then and now he's birdying shots? No way. It takes YEARS to get to that level. Plus, you need some physical gifts to be able to drive the ball and putt well also. I just find it very hard to believe. Which I guess would be part of the hustle on Phils part. Who knows..

I'd say that makes it possible for him to get better pretty quick.

A friend of mine went from his first time to playing of 6 within a summer when he was 16, he just played a lot of golf and had a lot of tuition

His swing is actually still pretty ugly. It was showcased in a quick segment on the Aussie Millions cash tv show.

Ha! Just now watching the first episode of the Aussie Millions Cash game.

Near the end, Antonius says, "I just want to know who the biggest golf hustler is."

Lisandro replies, "Well, we all know who it is now." and looks towards Ivey.

Antonius: "O.k., then I want to know who the 2nd biggest in Vegas is."

Ivey: "I don't make the top 5, that's for sure."

The word spread purty fast in Australia apparently.

Ivey then goes on to say, "People always say that don't have a handicap, they've never had one. When I shoot, I always shoot around 90."

Erik Lindgren shoots Ivey a smirk.

Ivey then says, "I make fair games when it comes down to what I peform to." Or something like that.

Juanda then pipes in, "Fair game in your opinion."

Ivey: "yeah, in my opinion."

Juanda: Laughs. "Let's ask the people who have lost to you."

Ivey: "What about the people I've lost to? I mean you act like I never lose. I lose on the golf course all the time..(pause) just haven't lately."

Most I've ever heard Ivey talk in one sitting.

They then cut to Ivey on the golf course....can definitely see a difference in his swing (e.g. he has one now, but still not pretty).

He says they bring ringers from all over to play him.

Fyi, he double-bogeyed the first hole.

Haven't watched the episode yet, but in the previews for ep. #2 of Aussie Millions Cash, it looks like some amateur gives Ivey sh*t about it and gets a nice little, "if looks could kill" stare back from Ivey.

Also, regularly shooting 90 isn't crap. It's nothing to go around crowing about, but it's not crap.
