Re: What happened to Josh Arieh?
True dat.
It's pretty laughable that some of these guys, who are anything but, are actually thought of in humanitarian and philanthropic terms. Professional poker players, with very few exceptions, are all either adrenaline junkies or hustlers. They are by nature aggressive and predatory. What they are not is humble and laidback. Typically people without humility or reservation are able to justify a wider range of behaviors than those who are prone to self-examination and reservation on occasion. It's difficult to prioritize one's personal ethics if one's nature is defined by traits so dominant as predation, addiction or arrogance. |

i thought arieh was a pretty interesting character. that laydown of the 2nd nut flush was like the best play ive ever seen. [/ QUOTE ] that laydowm to J Murphy was above the rim but... "best play i've ever seen" you must of missed Doyle putting QQ in the muck behind Chip Reese with KK......folded to a bricked off flop at the Horse FT |

Somebody who knows what I'm talking about might know that guys name. |

Re: What happened to Josh Arieh?
nick frangos. they mentnioed him briefly during the USPC broadcast... i think there was a ton of action behind him though, and before he looked he was like "come on aces" like that was the only thing he would play...of course this is entirely from memory so i could be wrong

Re: What happened to Josh Arieh?
I can't stand Arieh. Hope karma is paying him a visit for his constant berating and belittling of his opponents at the 04 ME.
How could anyone sit there and not want to punch that jackoff in the face? |
