I think this hairy balls issue has a lot to do with whose balls they are and how much the female likes the guy. Also the amount of the upfront payment.

We aren't comparing a grizzly and Brad Pitt. We are comparing Joe Schmoe with a bear sack vs Joe Schmoe with Brad Pitt's sack. As others have pointed out, I can't picture a girl saying "OMG I CAN'T STICK THOSE IN MY MOUTH BECAUSE THEY ARE SHAVED!" but I can see a girl refusing because they weren't. Every girl I've known has shown appreciation of the shaved, but that doesn't mean they hate hairy balls. I've certainly never heard any laugh or say "eww" when discussing shaved balls, but some have shown displeasure with hairy ones.
