The petition includes a bunch of people who don't meet your qualifications, but according to research Scientific American did on the petition, "Crudely extrapolating, the petition supporters include a core of about 200 climate researchers – a respectable number, though rather a small fraction of the climatological community."

Has Mann release his computer code yet for MBH98? Almost a decade old now. Has anyone able to exactly reproduce his reconstruction? What do you think of the Wegman criticism of the paper?
