**Official Guitar Hero 2 is the best PS2 Game ever Thread**

I got this game a couple of days ago, and slowly I'm working my way to play Hard difficulty. A thing that helps is:

Pick one song on hard, and just play it over and over. Soon you'll start to memorize it, and can practice hitting the orange button if you have trouble with it. Soon you'll be able to hit the orange button easily, then can play other songs

Played for about 7 hours last night. My friend and I 5-starred a crapload of songs on expert, including The Light That Blinds. I also beat Freya and Stop on Expert by myself, which I consider a great achievement. Stuck on the next set of Madhouse/Carry Me Home for now.

I've been playing this a ton for about a month, and I am totally stuck on Hanger 18 on Expert. I keep losing at like 89%. The song is so annoying because the first 2/3 of it is really boring and easy (I can now do almost all of it without looking at the screen) and then it just goes crazy.

I am also trying to get 5-stars on all the Hard level songs, which isn't nearly as frustrating yet. Got 25/40 so far.

Haha you think Hangar 18 is annoying. Free Bird is more of the same, only the solo is way harder.

Spend most of your time in practice mode just playing the solo in Hangar 18, and when you get to Free Bird do the same thing.

Then when you are confident enough just play the song all the way through. It's way easier than just trying the whole song over and over.

I am able to 3-star most songs on Hard now, except for when I get to the section that has Psychobilly Freakout. I can't beat any of those songs for some reason.
