Here's an FAQ: How did you people let my awesome collection thread fall into the archives? [/ QUOTE ] I thought it was linked to in FAQ...I nominate it for linkage if that's not the case. |

Re: Microlimit guidelines and FAQ v1.0 - comments/suggestions thread
Excellent post. It has helped me improve my game greatly. Thanks!
One Suggestion: I've been searching for starting hand charts for a while now and can't find them. I noticed that section 4 says that it contains these, where are they? (My books are on loan) I've also searched the entire form and can't find them for SSHE. |

Re: Microlimit guidelines and FAQ v1.0 - comments/suggestions thread
Hey guys. The two links to the hand converter in the FAQ are both to the zerodivide converter, which apparently has gone BUSTO. It wasn't even all that good when it was working. Do you guys think it should be replaced with:
The blog converter: http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter Or the FTR converter: http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php Unfortunately, neither default to 2+2 output, but we've been dealing with that for a while now. Thoughts? |

I always use the FTR converter and don't have problems with it. I prefer it the one that has the big pictures of the cards and fills up fourteen screens with the hand.

I'm with kerowo, FTR is the way to go.

Well, the blog converter has the option to use the big silly cards, but only if you check the box.

Whew! Thanks goodness I never found that box when I was new and stupid! Now I'm old and stupid, but at least know that shorter is better (at least in this case...).

Re: Microlimit guidelines and FAQ v1.0 - comments/suggestions thread
Actually, guys, after spending some more time looking at the two, I'm going to go ahead and make an exectutive decision contrary to popular opinion. The blog converter contains fewer prominant ad links, is not a link to a site that directly competes with 2+2, and supports more sites, including WPEX. FTR is the only one that supports stud and stud/8 hands, but this is not a stud forum. Also, the blog converter is kinda nice in that it, if you choose to allow it, gives you a small cookie to save your settings for future conversion, meaning you don't have to remember to choose 2+2 output every time.
