NT!,

Your list is awesome. June of '44, Promise Ring, Karate (though I prefer self-titled) are all favorites of mine. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Nath,

There is a lot of really awesome [censored] out there. The list is missing two of the best post-punk bands ever, Jawbreaker and Leatherface, because their best albums came out in the early 90's. Ditto Sonic Youth (although A Thousand Leaves still almost snuck into my list).

I kinda feel like I should make a playlist of some of this stuff and put it on YouSendIt, let me know if there is any interest guys. You may all know these bands and just be bored of them.

Crap I forgot Jets to brazil.

I cut them, I only really got into their first album and I think the only reason I wanted to put them in was because Blake was in Jawbreaker.

Matty, at first I saw your list and thought "wow, this clown left off Aeroplane."

but now that I think about it more, that might have been the hippest effing move this thread has seen yet. you've still got it, mang.

I do not own a NMH cd. For some reason they have just escaped me over the years...I just bought all of them though.

Yeah - I don't know why I didn't put their initial release. They are my favorite band, and I think that album is sick. I stink.

When I was making the list I thought that album came out in 95, although I see indeed it was 96. I still might take The Bed is in the Ocean, perhaps just because the last song on that album is better and always leaves me totally blown away.

I have WinAce compiling an archive for the young'uns now.
