Featured Table - Hoa Nguyen Eliminated in 34th Place ($285,678)
Featured Table Hand #1 - Hoa Nguyen has the button in seat 9, he raises to 160,000, and Childs calls from the big blind. The flop comes {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Childs checks, Nguyen bets 225,000, Childs raises to 500,000, and Nguyen goes in the tank. (While Nguyen is quietly thinking, everyone in the Featured Table Arena can hear Hevad 'Rain' Khan cheering himself during an all-in situation at one of the outer tables.) After about two minutes, Nguyen calls. The turn card is the {9-Diamonds}, Childs bets 450,000, and Nguyen thinks for about a minute before he calls. There is already 2.34 million in the pot. The river card is the {4-Hearts}, Childs checks, Nguyen moves all in for 1,085,000, and now it's Childs' turn to stop and think. This has been a very slow hand, but understandably so. The cards were in the air over ten minutes ago. After about two more minutes, Childs calls. Nguyen shows {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for two pair, fives and deuces. Childs excitedly shows {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair, nines and deuces, and he wins the pot. Hoa Nguyen is eliminated in 34th place, earning $285,678. ---SICK HAND! What did he think he was getting to fold there? I really don't understand the river shove. |

man i just don't get it... i remember them removing 1 level from the structure this year, but i can't figure out why last year and this year, compared to 2005, have been soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast.
i never in a million years thought after 2005 i would see 36 players whittled down to 9 in a day. |

[/ QUOTE ] Ahh, I missed that the flush got there. Though if he was that sure he's behind he was calling turn to bluff river? Or just see what the guy did? Really crazy hand, will be interesting to see it on TV. |

Featured Table - Christian Togsverd Eliminated in 33rd Place ($285,678)
Featured Table Hand #4 - Jon Kalmar has the button in seat 3, Kenny Tran raises from early position to 180,000, Tuan Lam calls from middle position, Stefan Mattson calls from the small blind, Christian Togsverd moves all in from the big blind for about 1.8 million, Tran folds, and Lam thinks for a few minutes before he calls. Mattson quickly folds. Togsverd shows {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and Lam shows {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Togsverd needs to improve to survive. The flop comes {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Lam flops a set of queens to take a dominant lead in the hand. Togsverd needs something runner-runner to survive. The turn card is the {4-Spades}, and Togsverd is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the {J-Diamonds}.) Lam wins the pot with his set of queens. Christian Togsverd is eliminated in 33rd place, earning $285,678. |

talked with Ray Henson today and he as well as the other players were completely disgusted by the lack of class Rain has shown....you should realize that you are not the only one who wants to win and handle your wins and losses with a little more class....Live he looks like a total douche from what I hear. I wunderstand your happy but come on you just crushed your opponents dream and there is no edge to be gained by making him feel worse when exiting.
