introduce a band to oot via youtube and wikipedia

so i actually went through and listened to everyone's recommendation. i have to say there were some pretty crappy songs in there. i only listened to the first song someone recommended so anything beyond that was ignored.

my favorites (in order) were:
-ok go - treadmill dance. great recommendation.
-heather nova - high quality music. polished. surprised i never heard of her. and youre right...she's hot.
-daisy chainsaw - the audio is low quality transfer but getting past that if i had a few beers and was at a bar listening to this i would have fun.

honorable metions go to:
-tilly and the wall - poppy and i liked it but i dont know if i could listen to an entire album without it getting old.
-leo - the guy's obviously a good guitarist but he's just playing to showcase how technical he is and not playing for sound.

dishonarable mentions go to:
-kevin devine - horrible voice. sounded like a cat dying. this is the absolute worst song i heard in the entire thread. whoever recommended this has no taste.
-placebo - the lyrics sound like they were written by some 14 year old wannabe poet who yearns for a hug from trent reznor. absolutely horrible.
-protest the hero - megadeth meets flying monkeys. i tried not to let the video influence me but this video just added to the trainwreck of a song.

This is the music video off of the album Rubber Factory.

Band is a two-piece (guitar, drums, vocals) that play blues rock. They get compared to the White Stripes because they are a two-piece, blues rock lo-fi garage band, but they are quite different.
