The one thing I've always wondered about for the lowish stakes pro is health insurance. Covered under your gf's plan? Or just going without? I'm probably a bit paranoid, but it always seemed a big drawback to me. [/ QUOTE ] If your a non-smoker under 50 one can get BLUE CROSS coverage covering MAJOR health issues for under $50 a month with a 10,000 deductible. If healthy, this is all one needs if they are relatively cash stable. |

[ QUOTE ] What do you believe the HOURLY RATE for a 1-2 NO limit player should be for the following type of 1-2 NL players......(LIVE PLAY). FAIR.....?? GOOD.....?? EXCELLENT?? I have asked this question numerous times over the past year and never seem to get concrete answers. THANKS [/ QUOTE ] FAIR.........$1-$8 GOOD.........$9-$16 EXCELLENT....$17+ Sound about right? [/ QUOTE ] I'd say fair breakeven - $8 Good 10-20 Excellent player wouldn't be there long enough to get any decent sample cuz he'd have enough to move up after a few weeks probably. |
